Highly recommend Battalion Roofing and Stephen Lawlis! We obtained 3 bids, Battalion's bid was a competitive price and provided a quality product. Stephen and his crew were professional, honest, easy to schedule and finished in 1 day. Also, did an exceptional job cleaning up afterwards! Did not leave 1 nail or piece of debris in our yard. I contacted Battalion roofing after Hurricane Harvey. Stephen came out right away, gave us a fair estimate, and was incredibly helpful through the whole process. I knew nothing about insurance claims. He walked me through what I had to do and worked with TWIA to get me more than they originally thought we should get. The roof was done beautifully in one day. The crew was polite, efficient, and hard working. When they left the place was cleaned completely.

Sunday afternoon I noticed that a wind-blown tree branch had rubbed a hole through my roof. 100% chance of rain on Monday. I called Battalion Monday morning at 7:30am, left a message, and Stephen called me back before 8am. He said he would meet me at my house in 15 minutes, and he did. He arranged for his worker to come by, and the repair was already completed by 11am. Cannot ask for better service than that. Highly recommend.

Stephen is honest and trustworthy. After hail hit our neighborhood recently, another roofer insisted my roof was a total loss and needed to be replaced right away. When Stephen at Battalion took a look, he gave a more measured, reasonable response: there are signs of hail damage, but they are not that severe, and I could wait a year or two if I wanted. I appreciate their honesty, and Battalion will be the first place I call when I do replace it.
